    Bar Pontevecchio draws you in with their exquisitely decorated gelato. There are also small tables and chairs so you know you can sit and enjoy your dessert. My main issue and reason for rating it so poorly is the price... it is 8 euro for a small cup of gelato and you're only able to get 2 scoops. You can order a small cone for 5 euro but you only get 1 scoop. The amount that you get isn't even that much. I think that is crazy!!! The prices were crazy for what I've seen in Italy. I would not go back.

    I do have to say the gelato I got was really good though - I ordered the panna (milk) and got 1 scoop.

    The gelato was good, but very pricey. We had the hazelnut which had a good amount of nuts in it. Cost was €8 for a small cup.  1 euro=$1.15.

    Not a good deal for what you got. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before I went!

    Mounds of gelato

    What a beautiful sight, huge mounds of colorful gelato.  Visiting from the US, I've never seen anything like this until I visited Italy.  In the US we have lots of gelato, but it is in small trays.

    So many flavors makes it hard to choose, but I decided on their Caramel.  Instead of getting a scoop she filled the container size we had selected to the top like a measuring cup, resulting in more than I expected.  It was cold and delicious.

    They have some seating inside, we took advantage of it to get off our feet for a few minutes.

    Not sure I'm reviewing the right place, the receipt shows Bar but the signage shows Caffe.  Not knowing the area I can't even describe exactly where I was,  It looked like the Yelp map had it on the other side of the river, so maybe there are 2 places.

    Only got an espresso due to the OUTRAGEOUS price for a gelato. The guy was very nice that works there though. Espresso was good and only 1.20€

    Terrible not worth it, get gelato somewhere else
    10 euro for gelato?! We feel ripped off, not good
